Please arrive at Estee Clinic, 1 hour before your scheduled treatment. Initially, your face will be cleansed, and a numbing cream will be applied. During this time, you can relax, read, or listen to music while the cream takes effect.

After approximately 30 minutes, the numbing cream will be removed, and the laser treatment will commence, lasting about 10-15 minutes. You might experience a sensation similar to “pins and needles” during and immediately after the procedure. To enhance comfort, a strong stream of cold air will be directed onto the treated area. The discomfort level is generally mild to moderate (rated 2-4 out of 10).

Following the procedure, a cooling mask will be applied to soothe your skin for 10-15 minutes. Before you leave, a moisturizer and sunscreen will be applied to your skin.

It depends on how well you protect your skin from the sun and other aging factors, such as general health, smoking, and weight fluctuations. Many patients choose for 2 less intensive treatments to minimize downtime. After your skin heals, which can take 3-14 days, there will be a 4 to 6-week period during which your skin may appear slightly pink.

During this time, your skin will feel smoother and look less blotchy. As your skin’s color returns to normal, you will notice fewer lines, reduced blotchiness, and a more radiant glow.

The number of treatments depends on the extent of your sun damage, scarring, or wrinkles, as well as how much downtime you can tolerate. This will be determined after a detailed consultation at Estee Clinic.

Since it is an ABLATIVE laser, a topical anesthetic cream will be applied before the procedure. Please note that even with the cream, some pain may still be experienced during the procedure, especially with deeper lesions.
